This LVTA5 Modified has recently been returned to the Assault Amphibian School Battalion to be placed back in the WWII Korea LVT Museum located on Camp Del Mar, Camp Pendleton, CA.   It was on loan to participate in the filming of the upcoming movie, Flags of Our Fathers, based on the book with the same title.
