This image set represents an AS-90 Mk.2 155 mm gun. This vehicle has been fitted with the Bowman radio sets, an integral GPS antenna, thermal plankets (on the turret roof), and an improved air conditioning and NBC filtration system. The Bowman set was in evidence by the new aerials, bases, the new radio equipment box located at the rear of the turret on the lower left side, and the new GPS antenna in evidence on the front of the turret to the left of the gun. This vehicle was not fitted with a GPMG or a muzzle velocity measuring device though the mounts for both can be plainly noted in the image set.
