These photos are of an Allison V-1710-F engine on display at the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Delaware. While the engine has a cutaway hydraulic propeller installed for display, it also has a Curtiss Electric Propeller Control (Governor) mounted on the prop control pad, which for a P-40 or a P-38 would be correct.
